NWA Optimum’s Children’s Miracle Network Benefit Nov. 21st

NWA Optimum will be starting with a BANG, with its inaugural show on November 21st, 2009. Doors will open at 5PM and the popular local band Raising Cain will be playing from 5:30PM until bell time at 7PM. Admission is a $10 donation to CMN, (Children’s Miracle Network) or the equivalent in a new, unwrapped toy or non-perishable food items. The toys will be donated to Project Success and the food items will go to the area food pantries. There will also be face painting for the kids, so be sure to bring them since this is a family-friendly, all ages show.

NWA Charlotte Presents Inaugural Queen City Tag Team Classic

NWA Wrestling Showcase, Live! May 2nd – 8:00pm

May 2nd marks the date of the big NWA Wrestling Showcase Live Event. Worlds Champion, Blue Demon Jr. will take on former ECW/WWE superstar Super Crazy. Also from Tyler Texas, will be North American Champion, Mike DiBiase, NWA Tag Champions the Skull Krushers, and the infamous tag team, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. All this takes place live from the Oil Palace.

“Striking Gold: An NWA Special Event” is planned for Saturday, May 2nd, at the Oil Palace in Tyler, TX and will feature the best that the National Wrestling Alliance has to offer! This card will be the NWA’s biggest event of the year with NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. granting two-time NWA World Champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce a rematch at pro wrestling’s most prestigious prize. Multi-time WWE Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch want to add another set of titles to their resume when they challenge current Tag Team Champions The Skullkrushers. From the whimsical world of Mexican Lucha Libre comes some of its most colorful personalities! The Showcase comes to Sioux Falls Arena

The NWA Tour Returns

The National Wrestling Alliance will be restarting their touring circuit this March. The NWA had ran several “arena” shows that feature many of the talents of the NWA Showcase. In the past 3 years the NWA has run these “all-star” shows all over the country with the 60th Anniversary Show at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta Ga.

The first “arena” show of 2009 has been announced for March 2nd, at 2:00pm. Taking place at the Sioux Falls Arena in South Dakota. The card is being billed with a World Tag Team Championship match with the Young Bucks taking on the title holders Skull Krushers and King V. will make his return to the NWA ring. To coincide with this big show, the NWA has some great news for the South Dakota wrestling fans.

The NWA Wrestling Showcase is premiering on MyUTV is the My Network affiliate in South Dakota area. “We’ve made a deal with them to run our program to support this (and hopefully other) dates. Our programming has been on other network affiliates in the past.,” David Marquez posted recently on our message board. David Marquez also mentioned the NWA is actively looking at other stations to partner with to bring its style of wrestling to more local markets while still broadcasting on Colours TV.
