NWA Mexico: Blue Demon Jr. takes on two of his Rivals

Blue Demon Jr. is a wanted man. Two of his biggest American rivals are seemingly teaming up to go after the holder of the legendary 10lbs. of Gold. Coming to Mexico. Former NWA World Champion, “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce and “Boarder Patrol” Oliver John are making the trek to Park Morelos de Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. This will be the first time NWA Matches will be sanctioned in Mexico since February. The only match announced for this show is Blue Demon Jr. and Incongnito, against the two American Challengers on Friday, November 27th. This will be Pearce’s first match in Mexico since he lost the title to Blue Demon Jr. and Oliver Johns first trip south of the border.

NWA Mexico’s Next Card is Oct. 4th

NWA Mexico is running Saturday October 4th 2008. The event will be taking place at Arena Mexico. Lucha Libre Magazines SoloLuchas and Superluchas are putting together contests to give away tickets to both events. The last show was headlined by Hijo del Santo, Blue Demon Jr. and Rayo de Jalisco Jr. defeating El Dandy, Hijo del Solitario y Fuerza Guerrea. The fall out from this match continues as El Dandy meets Blue Demon Jr. Also on the last show Skyde and Turbo took on the tag team of Black Thunder and Dr. Cerebro. The feud continues as Turbo takes on Black Thunder and Skyde takes on Dr. Cerebro. Its nice to see that NWA Mexico is continuing previously feuds and storylines.

I think the card shapes up quite nicely. Demon and Santo should draw well in the Federal District. I’m not sure if the match between Albright and Pearce is for the Worlds Title. If the title is on the line, it would mark the first International Defense for the NWA Worlds title since the split from TNA.
