NWA Wrestling Showcase, Live! May 2nd – 8:00pm

May 2nd marks the date of the big NWA Wrestling Showcase Live Event. Worlds Champion, Blue Demon Jr. will take on former ECW/WWE superstar Super Crazy. Also from Tyler Texas, will be North American Champion, Mike DiBiase, NWA Tag Champions the Skull Krushers, and the infamous tag team, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. All this takes place live from the Oil Palace.

“Striking Gold: An NWA Special Event” is planned for Saturday, May 2nd, at the Oil Palace in Tyler, TX and will feature the best that the National Wrestling Alliance has to offer! This card will be the NWA’s biggest event of the year with NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. granting two-time NWA World Champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce a rematch at pro wrestling’s most prestigious prize. Multi-time WWE Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch want to add another set of titles to their resume when they challenge current Tag Team Champions The Skullkrushers. From the whimsical world of Mexican Lucha Libre comes some of its most colorful personalities! NWA Wrestling Showcase Episode 2

The 2nd Episode of the NWA Showcase is now available to the internet audience at large. The episode was originally set to air Feb. 6th however, ColoursTV aired Episode 2 from last season. David Marquez commented on the Alliance Message Board that “Yes, seems like the network ran the wrong tape 2. Sorry guys! Its not what we want either. Just found out right now.” When asked if the video would be on-line Marquez replied with “We can’t just “put it online”, our deal with them is that they have the rights to air the program first, then we can upload it on a delay. “Its” not that easy. This happened on a Friday, after closing hours and there was nothing I could do…”

Cards are always subject to change but from the looks of it the tag team of Cade and Murdock will be appearing on this show. Cade recently teamed up with Pearce in Canada against Scotty Mac and Brent Albright. The flyer also shows Albright, Pearce, and Worlds Champion Blue Demon Jr.
Al though a finalized card hasn’t been posted yet, it is conspicious that there is not any mention of the World Tag Team Champions the SkullKrushers, the World Jr. Champion Mike Quackenbush, and it was reported on her Blog that MsChif will not be able to make this event. All that aside we’ll see the Heritage Champion TJ Perkins and North American Heavyweight Champion Mike DiBiase. The card is starting to shape up. I’ll be at the 2nd and 3rd days of tapings.
