Main Event announced for "Inoki Memorial 65"

Inoki’s Genome Federation has released the main event for it’s 3rd show, which is being title “Inoki Memorial 65.” Former NWA World Champion Naoya Ogawa takes on Josh Barnett. Ogawa regularly competes for HUSTLE. Prior to that, Ogawa competed for Zero One and before that New Japan. Barnett too battled in New Japan and also competed in MMA fighting in Pride and UFC. It was announced on Puroresupower.com that either Stan Hansen or Antonio Inoki could be the special referee for this match.

The show will also feature Booker T., Yoshiki Takahashi, Michiyoshi Ohara, Taka Kunou, Eric Paulson, Montanha Silva, Danny Iguazu, and Atsushi Sawada.

Can You Dig It, Sucka?!?

Meltzer is reporting that TNA wrestler, Booker T. is scheduled to make his in ring debut for the Inoki Genome Federation. February 16th at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan will be the 3rd effort put forth by the Inokis. Booker T. was originally scheduled to face fellow TNA wrestler and IGF’s Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle. There has been no matches announced yet. We will keep you updated.

Former WWE’s Masters to NWA Japan

Sourcing the Daily Suplex, Chris Mordetzky is going to join the ranks of Booker T. and Kurt Angle in Inoki’s Genome Federation. Mordetzky formerly known as Chris Masters spent the better part of his career in the WWE Farm System. First being scouted by UPW, the same promotion responsible for finding John Cena, Luther Reigns, Victoria, Frankie Kazarian, John Heidenrich, Nathan Jones, and had hands in establishing other names like Chris Daniels, Shelly Martinez, Aaron Aguilera, Ryan Sakoda, Spanky, and Paul London.

Inoki Genome Federation is the member of record in Japan for the NWA.
